✨ I don't dread this anymore 🀸🏻

HeyReader,

I used to dread meal times on vacation because I had no idea what we would have for breakfast, lunch and dinner that day. And it seemed like just one more thing on my plate to organize as the Mom / travel planning expert / fixer of all hangry people (while I was hangry myself - never a good thing). When all I need was a vacation.....from everything!

Not to mention all the wasted money on marginal food choices, because we didn't plan ahead, and had to grab something close by.

So I decided to do something about it.

I created these colorful vacation and weekly meal planner templates which are both fillable and editable, and can automatically track your weekly food budget.

It's a lot easier and more fun than I thought it would be. Especially now that both my partner & I are involved, so we know who's doing what, which day. But with room for flexibility, because hey, we're on vacation and sometimes ice cream for dinner is totally appropriate.

I've also included two sample 7 day meal plans & 100+ meal ideas to get you started. Plus grocery & packing lists, and templates to gather ideas for restaurants, meals and recipes all in one place.

βœ”οΈ Organization taken care of!

If you want to take the headache out of vacation or weekly meal planning check out these fun meal planner templates (they're over 50% off today).

If the thought of even starting has your head spinning down a rabbit hole, try these tips instead:

  • Pick one day, and start there. Then add one meal at a time.
  • Choose meals your family already likes.
  • Pick easy meals, that don't take a lot of prep or cooking time. Sandwiches, rotisserie chicken, tacos, pasta, scrambled eggs & toast, and grilled meat and salads are one's we go back to again and again.
  • Pick the 1 to 3 restaurant meals your family doesn't want to miss and put them into the schedule first. I like that one the most ;)

Then print off your vacation meal plan and hang it on the fridge of your rental (or at home).

Happy Planning!

P.S. Skipped to the end? Take the hassle & headache out of "What's for Dinner?" with these cute and colorful meal planner templates for only $7 today (regularly $15).

Hello Reader from super sunny Thailand, After our wild Bangkok earthquake experience, we didn't end up doing too much over the next few days. However, Miss S. and I did take a super fun Thai cooking class. I highly recommend this easy & fun class (they even train professional chefs upstairs). Everyone got to choose their own 5 dishes to make, plus they gave us mango sticky rice for dessert. She did amazingly well, as we each had our own cooking station where we did all the cooking ourseslves....

Hello Reader, We were in Bangkok, Thailand for the earthquake. First of all we are ok. The airbnb we were staying in was a low-rise apartment, thankfully. Yikes. Not on my radar of possible things to happen during our 6 month trip, as Bangkok hadn't ever really experienced one like that in most people's lifetimes. In fact, we didn't realize it was an earthquake at first. I thought Derek was moving the bed around as a joke, until he said I think it's an earthquake. The lights were swaying, and...
